Hwy 99 <br />Acampo, CA 95220 <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br />the application for a permit to repair the 9x9ft. concrete area, reset the 6x4ft. dispenser island <br />with the existing island form, reuse the existing UDC, and install new bumper poles for the <br />diesel dispenser #13/14 at the above noted address. The permit has been approved with the <br />following conditions: <br />Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />Contact Aris Cacapit at (209) 468-3453 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br />(a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that <br />inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br />a. Primary piping soap test: One hour pneumatic pressure test at 110% of operating <br />pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. <br />b. Secondary piping soap test: One hour pressure test per manufacturer's guidelines. If <br />there are no manufacturer's guidelines, test shall be performed using an applicable <br />method specified in an industry code or engineering standard. <br />c. 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on UDC #13/14 sump. <br />Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the #13/14 diesel dispenser prior <br />to the EHD inspection and approval. <br />4. Since concrete will be broken near the diesel piping, a secondary containment test must <br />be performed on the diesel piping once concrete is poured in accordance with the <br />manufacturer's guidelines. <br />
