UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK <br /> MONITORING PROGRAM <br /> AND <br /> RESPONSE PLAN <br /> Monitorina Program: <br /> The underground storage tanks located at: <br /> 1535 East Pescadero Avenue <br /> Tracy, CA 95376 <br /> Telephone <br /> (209) 833-1300 <br /> will follow the written routine monitoring procedures listed below. The following <br /> individuals are responsible for implementing this response plan: <br /> Richard Smith Area Maintenance Manager <br /> Randall Martin City Equipment Supervisor <br /> All of the underground storage tanks have the Veeder-Root TLS-250 inventory control <br /> and interstitial leak sensing system installed for double wall tanks. <br /> The TLS-250 monitoring system is a continuous electronic detection device. The system <br /> has a leak alert system that signals either when a sensor that monitors the interstitial <br /> space for piping fails or a suspected fuel or water leak has occurred in the tank. <br /> The control panels for the underground storage tank is located in the mechanical room of <br /> the maintenance shop. <br /> Under the direction of the shop maintenance manager, shop supervisors will monitor the <br /> control panel of the TLS-250. The shop maintenance manager will also be responsible <br /> for maintaining the system and training all individuals on how to monitor the system. <br /> Based on manufacturers recommendations for the continuous leak detection system, a <br /> maintenance schedule will be developed as necessary to ensure the system is <br /> functioning properly. This schedule will be implemented by the shop maintenance <br /> manager. <br /> Response Plan: <br /> In the event a suspected unauthorized release of product from an underground storage <br /> tank has occurred in the secondary containment area of the tank, the following <br /> procedures will occur: <br /> 1 .
