If a leak is detected an alarm is activated with audio, visual and remote signaling capabilities. • FLEXIBILITY - The LS300-120 test parameters are field adjustable to allow compensation for a particular site's characteristics.Thus avoiding the false alarms that are so familiar with mechanical line leak detectors. • FALSE ALARM-If a false alarm is sounded due to a faulty valve or debris in the piping system the LS300-120 will not disrupt product sales by preventing continued operation of the system. •AUTO CLEARING-Automatically resets alarm,if subsequent test shows no leak.Avoids the need for the operator to manually reset alarms due to transient conditions,such as an improper seating of the turbine pump check valve. •EASY TO INSTALL-Detectorcan be mounted on dispenser top,utilizes existing AC power and a transducer screws into existng port of the dispensefs fire valve.No special tools or training required. OPERATION: The Model LS300-120 is designed to perform a leak test at the end of each pumping cycle by monitoring the product line pressure decay time immediately following the pump shut down.The test compares the expected line pressure decay with the actual pressure decay.The leak test is initiated when the line pressure signaled to the controller by the transducer drops below the high threshold,the test lasts 10 to 150 seconds (selectable).If the line pressure decays to below the low pressure threshold prior to the conclusion of the test period,a leak condition is indicated and the alarm is activated.An on-board relay output is activated with the alarm for the purpose of remote signaling and/or submersible pump deactivation. If a subsequent test results in a no leak condition then the alarm will self cancel . An alarm may also be cancelled by depressing the Test/Reset button.An on-demand self test function provides verification of the controller's operating status.
