March 3 , 1987
San Joaquin Local
Health Dept.
P. O . Box 2009
Stockton, Ca. 95201
Attn: Margaret Lagorio
Subject : Bobcat Central
1113 Shaw Rd . , Stockton
Dear Margaret ,
This is in follow up to our recent telephone conversation
concerning the installation we made at subject site in 1985.
I shall address tha main points of your 2-20-87 inspection
report as follows:
1 . Mr . Franzia has already started a daily stick monitoring
of the anular space on both the gasoline and the diesel
tanks .
2 . At present he and I are considering which monitoring
system to be applied to the waste oil tank. As soon
as a decision is made , we will advise you .
3. As to the precision testing of these tanks , we chal-
lange the requirement for this based on the following
a. At the time the installation was made we took ou
all required permits and called for and had all
required inspections. No where in these permits
did it state that a precision test of the tanks
would be required prior to their being put into
operation .
