8.10 Local Agencies: Distance Searched - Site <br /> ATC reviewed files or issued requests to review file information maintained by the <br /> Stockton Fire Department and the San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD). <br /> 8.10.1 City of Stockton Fire Department - ATC contacted the Stockton Fire <br /> Department regarding the site. Mr. Michael Morrell with the Stockton Fire Pr vention <br /> Unit stated that there was a permit on file dated 1985 for the installation of twc 2,000- <br /> gallon USTs and one 550-gallon waste oil UST. Mr. Morrell indicated that th re was <br /> no further information in the Stockton Fire Department files for the site. <br /> 8.10.2 San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division <br /> 1 (PHS/EHD) - ATC reviewed database files at the counter of the San Joaquin County <br /> PHS/EHD regarding UST permits and contamination files for the site and he site <br /> address. ATC reviewed the LUST files for 1282 Shaw Road and 1011 Broadway on <br /> April 10, 2001 and this review was discussed in Section 8.8.2. Based on the regulatory <br /> agency oversight and the groundwater gradient in the area, the likelihood of these <br /> facilities impacting the site is low. <br /> 9.0 DISCUSSION <br /> 9.1 On-Site Potential Sources <br /> Review of historical resources indicated that the site has been undeveloped land from at <br /> least 1937 to 1985. The property was developed in 1985 with the current struture on <br /> site. <br /> The site contains one 550-gallon waste oil UST, one 2,000-gallon gasoline U T, one <br /> 2,000-gallon diesel UST, and one 250-gallon hydraulic fluid AST. The USTs were <br /> installed in 1985 and are constructed of double-walled steel with interstitial monitoring <br /> devices. According to Mr. Franzia, the USTs are tested annually for integrity and they <br /> are currently permitted by the PHS/EHD. The AST is double-walled and appeared to <br /> be in good condition and is located in the warehouse/shop space. There was evidence <br /> of minor spillage beneath the AST <br /> There are two solvent parts washers located inside the warehouse/shop area. Tiere are <br /> three 55-gallon drums adjacent to the AST that contain hydraulic fluid. Th re was <br /> minor spillage around the 55-gallon drums. There are various sized containers with <br /> lube oil, transmission fluid, motor oil, and antifreeze. All the containers appeared to <br /> be in good condition. <br /> No other evidence of hazardous materials use, generation or storage was observed on <br /> site, nor is hazardous waste generated or stored on site.
