The site is listed on a database that identifies facilities with USTs. The site was not listed
on any other environmentally-related government databases searched for this ESA.
ATC's review of local agency files did not indicate violations or enviroilmental
impairment at the site. Based on this assessment, it is our judgment that there is a
moderate likelihood that the USTs have impacted the site. This constitutes a Recognized
Environmental Condition (REC). Information pertaining to likelihood statements is
presented in Appendix B.
9.2 Off-Site Potential Sources
Based on the locations, distances and nature of off-site potential sources in the site
vicinity, it is our judgment that there is a low likelihood that potentially ha ardous
waste is present at the site due to these off-site potential sources of hazardous
substances. It is our judgment that these off-site sources would not constitute a REC.
10.0 CONCLUSIONS
Based on the information obtained during this assessment, current regulatory
guidelines, and the judgment of ATC Associates Inc., the following conclusion has
been drawn:
We have performed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment in
conformance with the scope of work and limitations of ASTM andard
E 1527-00 for Real Property located at 1113 Shaw Road in Stockton,
California. The USTs at the site are approxim tely 16
years old and although they meet the current construction requirements
of the regulatory agencies, it is ATC's opinion that the likelihood of the
USTs impacting the site is moderate.
11.0 RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the information obtained during this assessment, IZUent re ulatory
guideli TC Associates Inc., additional investig tion is
[PrnmmPn,_ '1a1 ATC recommends advancing two sot orl est e an c lecting
soil samples from the borings for analysis by a State-certified laboratory.
