�- TPHd, BTEX, VOCs, polychlorinated biphenyls (PBCs) and the Injury and Illness Prevention Program <br /> (T8 CCR§§3203 and 1509). <br /> 2.2.2 "Tailgate" Meetings <br /> During the active field components of the projec the Project Manager or designee will conduct regular <br /> (i.e., weekly or daily, as appropriate)"tailgate" safety meetings. This meeting will include information <br /> on the following subjects, as applicable: <br /> • Changes to project scope; <br /> 6. • Recognized changes to site conditions; <br /> • Review of safe work practices; <br /> • On or off the project safety practices; <br /> L <br /> • Feedback from employees on hazards, safety suggestions,or concerns;and <br /> • Recognition for compliance,good safety perlbrmance or attitude. <br /> L <br /> Attendance at the tailgate meetings is considered a part of each employee's job responsibilities. <br /> �- 2.3 Medical Surveillance <br /> Based on Negative Exposure Assessments fron industrial hygiene monitoring for inorganic lead <br /> performed for representative sampling tasks usin 7 similar controls, which is representative of potential <br /> exposure risks to other toxic metals and PCBs, and carried out within the past twelve months (ref. T8 <br /> ` CCR § 1532.1(d)), medical surveillance is not mandated for these tasks nor is respiratory protective <br /> equipment required for this project. <br /> 6. Therefore, additional exposure assessments are not justified and Medical Surveillance as specified <br /> under T8 CCR§§5194. 1532, 1532.1 and 1532.2 is not required for personnel assigned for this project. <br /> Geocon and subcontractor employees required to wear respiratory protection shall have a current <br /> medical evaluation and approval by a physician or other licensed health care professional (PLHCP). <br /> ` Medical evaluations will be provided in accord with the Geocon Respiratory Protective Equipment <br /> Program(ref.
