INTRODUCTION <br /> The purpose of this Health and Safety Plan (HASP) is to define on-site health and safety <br /> roles, health and safety procedures, and discuss chemical and physical hazards, and <br /> electrical safety issues which may be encountered at the project. <br /> The elements of the HASP include procedures for personnel protection equipment safety, <br /> medical surveillance, air quality monitoring, and general safe work practices. This plan <br /> also details the proper emergency procedures, including emergency response and first-aid <br /> capabilities. Compliance with this HASP is required of all workers and third parties who <br /> enter the sites while the above work is in progress. <br /> Tait clients may suggest or require adherence to their company HASP. Tait employees <br /> shall adhere to the more stringent procedures in either case or the required procedures by <br /> Cal/OSHA or other Federal mandated safety orders. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of work for this project includes: DIESEL DISPENSER REPLACEMENT <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION PLAN <br /> It is important to protect the surrounding environment as it exists around the work area <br /> involved. All trees, plants, and shrubs close to the work area will be barricaded if <br /> necessary to reduce the risk of damage from construction debris and equipment. All <br /> efforts will be made to insure protection of natural resources within the boundaries of the <br /> project and within the work area. All demolition will be limited to the designated work <br /> area. <br /> Dust control measures, in the form of water spray, will be used to prevent dust migration <br /> from the excavation site. This is a generally accepted procedure by all Governing <br /> Agencies. <br /> Generated hazardous waste will be handled and disposed of in Compliance with the <br /> following; 40 CFR 260, 40 CFR 261, 40 CFR 262, 40 CFR 263, CFR 1910, Title 22 <br /> Division 4, Title 23, Cal OSHA, and Cal Haz-Mat Enforcement and Liability. <br /> HEALTH AND SAFETY PERSONNEL <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The following sections briefly describe the Health and Safety Personnel, and general <br /> responsibilities, which will be employed during the project. <br /> JUL 14 2017 <br />
