When all of the conductors feeding the dispensers have been properly labeled,
shut off all power feeding circuits in the wiring trough. Locate the first set of
i conductors and, using the meter, make sure all of the power is off. After making
certain that all power is off, cut each of the conductors at an appropriate spot and
connect each side of the conductor as shown on the wiring diagram below:
Use the black and white conduc- LI from Panel Black
tors to break the hot and neutral Black Comas Razing: 16A@250V
@eds from the circuit breaker LI to Da enser
panel to the dispenser. Locate the a terminal block labeled"TBI" located next to
the red LED labeled"LED 1" (see page 6). Connect the 522 Relay box control cable for
Dispenser 1 to TB 1 (see wiring diagram on page 6) and so on. Once all connections have
been made, power to the 522 Serial Relay Interface System can be turned on. When
power is restored, the red LEDs on both the board and on the 522 Relay Box relays
should be lit. If LEDs on the interface board are not lit, cycle power to the board. If
LEDs on the 522 Relay Boxes are not lit, check to make sure polarity is correct.
5. Communicating to Veeder Root-TLS-350
The 522 Remote Monitoring System has a single relay output(see page 7-8) for
communicating alarm information to the Veeder Root TLS-350 through anInput/Output
Combination Module (use Veeder Root Part#323900-00x). Equiva specificies that the
TLS-350 receive fuel, high water, and impact alarms and the 522 Remote Monitor is
programmed to send those alarms via the relay output. Using 18 gauge or smaller
conductors, connect per Veeder-Root instructions to the Veeder-Root 1/0 Module. The
TLS-350 input should be identified as "Beaudreau System".
Page 11
