Only
unload product into specified storage facilities.
• Inform the operator at the facility that the load ordered must fit into the tank or no
delivery will be made. No exceptions!
• Install the four-inch tight-fill delivery elbow at the tank fill and check for proper seal.
• Connect to tanker unloading valve and check for proper connection.
• Place drip pan below connection point at tanker.
• If delivery is going into manifolded tanks, the amount delivered must be split between the
tanks. The fill cap must not be removed while the other tank is being filled.
• After connections are made, select compartment and start flow slowly; immediately
check sight glasses to be certain of correct product.
• Remain by unloading valves during the entire unloading process.
• Check sight glass to make certain compartments have completely drained.
• Drain product hoses to avoid spills.
• Close internal and butterfly valves.
• Disconnect and again drain hoses.
• Stow all hoses and connections securely.
• Secure all tank fill caps.
• Make a tour around the truck unit to observe the possible presence of people, cars,
bicycles, or other obstacles that would make movement of vehicle unsafe.
