All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow <br /> of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. The sensor was replaced and retested during the inspection. A <br /> "UST Retrofit Verification with Inspector Already Onsite"form has been completed and provided to the operator and <br /> contractor. <br /> 310 CCR 2636(f)(1) Sensor in a turbine sump failed to activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow product. <br /> The 87 STP sump sensor failed to activate an audible and visual alarm when tested to ensure continuous monitoring of <br /> the tank system. All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow <br /> of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. The sensor was shaken and retested during the inspection. This is <br /> a repeat violation, Class II. This was corrected on site. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Violation checklist left with Sandra Harbaugh on January 20, 2015. Complete inspection report mailed on January <br /> 21, 2015. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by February 19, 2015 . <br /> Consent to perform the inspection, take photos and collect samples was given by Sandra Harbaugh, Fuel <br /> Manager. This facility's designated operator is Maria Guarnelli (ICC expiration date: 04/17/2016 ) . The service <br /> technician was Kristopher Bell (ICC expiration date: 09/11/2016 ), who had the following manufacturer's <br /> certifications: VMI 11/18/2016; Veeder Root 03/04/2016 . <br /> Please be aware that as of January 1, 2014, facility operators are required to upload the following UST program <br /> documents into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS): UST Monitoring Site Plan, UST <br /> Certification of Financial Responsibility, UST Response Plan, UST Owner/Operator: Written Agreement (if <br /> applicable), UST Letter from Chief Financial Officer, and Owner Statement of Designated UST Operator <br /> Compliance. <br /> Note: The wiring 89/91 annular sensor was observed with two splices outside the electrical box. The technician <br /> rewired the sensor at the time of inspection.
