The L3, 87 tank annular liquid sensor was found in sensor out alarm Aug 14, 2016 and the followup action to address the alarm was not documented in the facility records. Provide a record of the follow up action to the EHD and keep a copy at the facility. This is a minor violation. 306 CCR 2630(d) Monitoring equipment is not installed or maintained to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. The flexible secondary piping under each dispenser was found to not drain to the liquid sensors under each dispenser to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. Monitoring equipment shall be maintained to be able to detect a leak at the earliest possible opportunity. Repair the secondary piping to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity by opening the secondary piping under each dispenser. Today, the service technician opened the jumper lines under each dispenser, allowing the system to detect piping leaks at the earliest opportunity. Violation resolved. This is a Class II violation.
