Underground Storage Tank Program Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />January 23, 2017 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 2808 COUNTRY CLUB BLVD, STOCKTON <br /> Facility Name: <br /> Safeway Fuel Center #1769 <br />San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department <br />1868 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California 95205-6232 <br />Telephone: (209) 468-3420 Fax: (209) 468-3433 Web: www.sjgov.org/ehd <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br /> 318 CCR 2636(f)(2) Leak detector failed to detect a 3.0 gph leak at 10 psi. <br />The 87-1 grade line leak detector failed to detect a leak when tested. All line leak detectors shall be capable of <br />detecting a 3-gallon per hour leak at 10 psi. The service technician replaced the siphon jet, retested it, and it passed. <br />Violation resolved. <br />This is a minor violation. <br /> 319 CCR 2635(b) No spill bucket, failed to contain five gallons, or failed to provide a means to keep it empty. <br />The 91 grade spill container failed when tested. All spill containers shall have a minimum capacity of five gallons and <br />be capable of containing a spill or overfill until it is detected or cleaned up. The riser pipe was repaired by trimming <br />off damaged pipe threads and retested good during the inspection. Violation resolved. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Routine and Monitoring System Certification UST inspection. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by February 23, 2017. <br />AFTER THE COMPLIANCE DATE, EHD WILL BILL FOR ALL TIME AND ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH BRINGING THIS <br />FACILITY BACK INTO COMPLIANCE. <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> Received by: Inspector Phone: <br /> (209) 468-2986 GARRETT BACKUS, Lead Senior REHS <br /> Inspector: Date: <br />Printed Name and Title: <br />, <br />Page 4 of 4
