Carpenter Road <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> PROPOSED POND CLOSURE, AMADOR CHEMICAL COMPANY, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Enclosed are comments concerning the inspection of your facility and a review of <br /> your proposed pond closure plan. As discussed in the enclosed memorandum the <br /> following deficiencies were noted in your proposed plan: <br /> 1. Lack of detail concerning the proposed soil sampling program. <br /> 2. Lack of a ground water monitoring program. <br /> 3. Contractual agreements with the Stockton Treatment Plant for wastewater <br /> disposal and a complete waste characterization should be submitted. <br /> These deficiencies should be addressed in a revised proposal and submitted to <br /> our office by 15 June 1986.
