Applied GeoSystelns 4191-E Power Inn Road, Sacramento, CA 95826 (916) 452-2901
• FREMONT • COSTA MESA • SACRAMENTO • HOUSTON
September 22 , 1988
0922JSAV
AGS 38064-1
Mr. John Savage
Town and County Contractors, Inc.
117 Otto Circle
Sacramento, California 95822
Subject: Executive Summary of Report on Subsurface Environmental
Investigation Related to Removal of Undergroynd Storage
Tanks at City of Lodi Corporation Yard, 1331 South Ham
Lane, Lodi, California.
Mr. Savage:
A geologist from our office was present at the City of Lodi
Corporation Yard on September 19 , 1988, to collect soil samples
from beneath two underground fuel storage tanks. It is our
understanding, based on information provided by personnel of the
City of Lodi and Town and Country Contractors, Inc. , that one
5, 000-gallon tank contained diesel fuel and one 10, 000-gallon
tank contained unleaded fuel.
Town and Country Contractors, Inc. , of Sacramento, California,
removed the tanks. Ms. Kasey Foley of the San Joaquin Local
Health District was present at the site during removal of the
tanks and soil sampling.
Results of the soil analyses indicate that there has been no
detectable contamination of the soil below the former tanks by
petroleum hydrocarbons. In our opinion, no mitigation of soil
contamination is necessary at this site.
Copies of this report should be forwarded to Mr. Harlan Knoll,
San Joaquin Local Health District, P.O. Box 2009 , Stockton,
California 95201. Please do not hesitate to call if you have any
questions regarding the information presented in this report.
Sincerely,
Applied GeoSystems
Andrew P.
