Regional Board staff has made several phone calls and <br /> sent emails requesting the information, which is necessary to complete the health risk <br /> assessment. <br /> California Water Code Section 13267 authorizes the Regional Board to require submission of <br /> technical information as may be required to investigate discharges of waste that may affect waters <br /> within i6egion. The technical information required in this letter is necessary to determine the <br /> concentr&ons in soil and groundwater that could adversely affect human health. WFS is required <br /> to submifv ht a technical information because it owns the property and conducts operations at the site <br /> that resulted in the discharges of waste to soil and groundwater at the site. <br /> Pursuant to Water Code Section 13267 and in accordance with the information in this letter,by <br /> 13 June 2003, you are required to submit the information as outlined above to the Regional Board <br /> for its review and approval.
