The QMR discusses the results ch <br /> former ponds. The R oand the annual inspection of the liner and cap that is of <br /> over the <br /> monitoring wells. Monitoring sses wells the installation, development, and sampling of five <br /> the first and second water being zones, and Za tM�' A/B az nested screened inthescreened inthird water <br /> bearing zone. <br /> We have the following comments on the Report: <br /> 1. The text states the measured groundwater parameters recorded during well development <br /> activities are listed on Table 1. Table 1 does not include the groundwater parameters for <br /> logs, eve <br /> mt , eve lg rr.e11sMW-19A/B. Furthermore, the Report did not include well development <br /> n though Board staff specifically requested them in our 22 July 2002 letter. This <br /> information needs to be submitted. <br /> 2• Board staff is concerned about the concentrations of trichloroethene (TCE) in four of the <br /> newly-installed wells and methylene chloride(MC) in well MW-19A. As recommended <br /> in the Report, WFS needs to continue to monitor for these analytes. <br /> 3. The Report does not discuss whether the soil and water generated during field activities <br /> have been removed from the Giglio Yard.
