Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Subject: Ground-Water Monitoring at 1905 North Broadway Avenue, A, Stockton, Sierra-Pacific <br /> Project No. 94-055 <br /> Dear Mr. Infurna: <br /> The results of Sierra-Pacific's most recent ground-water sampling event at the former PureGroBrea <br /> ag-chem facility on Broadway Avenue indicates that concentrations of 1,2-DCP have moved with <br /> shallow ground water at least 300 feet west of the ag-chem site. <br /> Unocal would appreciate any assistance that you may be able to provide in obtaining permission <br /> from local land owners to sample nearby monitoring wells. To define the extent of the <br /> PureGroBrea plume and establish background conditions, Unocal would like to sample a shallow <br /> monitoring well at the Ultramar Cardlock #9 gas station located at 3300 Waterloo Road, and a <br /> monitoring well at Geo F. Schuller, Inc. located at 1705 North Broadway Avenue.
