Wyels: <br /> Thank you for your prompt review and response to the Work <br /> Plan for the groundwater investigation proposed at the <br /> PureGro/Brea facility. The items listed in your letter of 29 <br /> April 1992 are addressed below: <br /> Section 2 . 1: Hvdrogeoloav <br /> The additional information you have provided regarding the <br /> groundwater gradients at nearby facilities is appreciated. <br /> Condor has encountered similar seasonal swings in gradient <br /> direction at other locations in the San Joaquin Valley. <br /> Local groundwater gradients and bearings will be <br /> investigated as part of the historical review. <br /> Section 3. 1: Historical Review <br /> It is Condor's standard practice to review all available <br /> historical data prior to recommending locations for the <br /> placement of monitor wells . Perhaps the planned sequence of <br /> events was unclear in the work plan.
