NS <br /> CLASS I, CLASS II,or INOR-Notice to Comel <br /> This is a report of the Routine hazardous waste inspection conducted at the referenced facility by San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD). The following are Minor Violations - Notice to <br /> Comply: 7,8,14,79/83/84,999 <br /> 7. One 5-gallon container of waste oil according to generator, one 1-gallon bottle of unknown, and oily <br /> liquid in two pans in the backyard behind southwest of the shop require hazardous waste determination. <br /> -- Generator shall make hazardous waste determination of the waste and manage accordingly. <br /> * Immediately make a hazardous waste determination of the above wastes and manage each <br /> accordingly, or dispose of the waste as hazardous waste in accordance to California Code of <br /> Regulations (CCR) Title 22. Submit a copy of disposal receipt to EHD by May 16, 2011. <br /> 8. This facility's EPA ID number is inactive. <br /> -- A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, <br /> hazardous waste without an EPA ID number. <br /> * Immediately contact DTSC to reactivate your EPA ID number and submit evidence of correction to the <br /> EHD by May 16, 2011. An EPA ID number application form has been provided. <br /> 14. No spill control or decontamination equipment. <br /> -- Facility shall be equipped with portable fire extinguishers, fire control equipment, spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment for release of hazardous waste. <br /> * Immediately provide spill control and decontamination equipment, and submit evidence of <br /> correction to EHD by May 16, 2011. <br /> 79,83,84. Unable to determine the length of storage of three Universal Waste (UW) fluorescent lamps <br /> not stored in a container on the second floor. <br /> -- Universal Wastes shall be stored in a closed container that prevents breakage and release to the <br /> environment. The container shall be labeled to identify the type of Universal Waste and marked the <br /> initial date of accumulation. Universal Waste shall be managed within one year of storage and retained <br /> on site a copy of the disposal receipt for at least 3 years. Please be aware that Universal Waste includeg <br /> but not limited to lamps, alkaline batteries, mercury containing switches, CRT, non-empty aerosol cans, <br /> and electronic devices. <br /> * Immediately dispose of the above Universal Waste - lamps and submit a copy of the disposal <br /> receipt to EHD by May 16, 2011.
