(AGE) has prepared this Limited Phase 11 <br /> Site Assessment Work Plan for the property located at 1447 Mariani Court (Lot 9), <br /> Tracy, California (site). The work plan provides procedures for the collection of soil and <br /> groundwater samples at the site. A site plan depicting the proposed boring locations is <br /> illustrated in Figure 1. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The site was occupied by H.J Heinz Company from 1946 until 1998. A Phase I <br /> environmental site assessment was performed for the site in December 2014. The <br /> Phase I concluded there are recognized environmental conditions (RECs) in connection <br /> with the site that warrant further investigation. AGE has prepared the following work <br /> plan to investigate the RECs and assess shallow soil and groundwater at the site for <br /> potential impacts from previous H.J. Heinz Company activities. Procedures for soil and <br /> groundwater sample collection are described in detail below. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> AGE proposes to advance a total of three (3) soil borings at the site to depths of ten feet <br /> below surface grade (bsg) for collection of soil and groundwater samples.
