X04 June 2015 • • AGE Project No. 15-3444 Page 2 of 4 Soil borings will be advanced using a van-mounted Geoprobe 5400 direct-push drill rig; surface samples will be collected using a soil sampling slide-hammer. Selected soil and groundwater samples will be submitted to a California Department of Public Health (CDPH)-Certified laboratory and will be analyzed for: • Total petroleum hydrocarbons in accordance with EPA-method 8015-modified; • Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in accordance with EPA Method 82606; • Semi volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) in accordance with EPA Method 8270; • Polychlorinated bi-phenols (PCBs) in accordance with EPA Method 8082; • CAM 17 metals in accordance with EPA Methods 6010B and 200.7; • Organochlorine Pesticides (OCPs) in accordance with EPA Method 8081; and • Hexavalent chromium in accordance with EPA Methods 3060A and 218.6. Upon completion of the field work and receipt of laboratory analysis, a brief report will be prepared. The report will be reviewed and signed by a California Professional Geologist. PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES Applicable drilling permits will be obtained from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) and a site-specific Health and Safety Plan will be prepared and submitted with this work plan. Prior to mobilization, each soil boring location will be clearly marked and a utility clearance obtained through Underground Service Alert. The SJCEHD will be contacted a minimum of 48 hours prior to conducting investigation activities to arrange for inspection. FIELD PROCEDURES All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative working under the supervision of a California Professional Geologist.
