Grant Line Rd., Tracy <br />Program: UST <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />CLASS 1, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />Note: This facility has been under new ownership, Van De Pol Enterprises, since November 2011. The <br />gas station is not currently being operated. Daily tank and monitoring inspections are being conducted <br />by the owners. <br />Note: The dispensers at this facility have been removed. All piping has been capped in the under <br />dispenser containment (UDCs). The UDCs are open and exposed to the Clements, and the floats and <br />chains in the UDCs have all been disconnected. The float and chains were not tested at the time of <br />inspection. <br />Note: The turbines are not currently in operation due to the removal of the dispensers. Positive <br />shutdown, fail safe, sensor out, and leak detector testing could not be conducted. Annual line tightness <br />testing is required unless the UST system is equipped with the following: <br />1. A continuous monitoring system that either activates an audible and visual alarm or stops the flow <br />of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak <br />2. A monitoring system that shuts down the pump or stops the flow of product at the dispenser when <br />it detects a leak <br />3. A monitoring system for piping other than that in UDC sumps (tank top sumps, transition vents, etc.) is <br />failsafe and shuts down pump when a leak is detected. <br />"The monitoring system certification is incomplete. A reinspection will be required to conduct the <br />remaining testing required.
