I <br /> t �-- -- _— -- <br /> ROUTINE HAZARDOUS WASTE GENERATOR (AND COMPLAINT) INSPECTION i <br /> i I <br /> t <br /> Complaint#C00035435 was received alleging that this facility provided x-ray equipment and transformer s <br /> oil to a private resident. No used x-ray equipment was observed on site; a new piece of equipment with a I <br /> I transformer attached was observed in the storage area. According to Mr. Harrell, a man comes to the <br /> facility to collect the scrap metal and mistakenly took some full transformers nearby. Per Mr. Harrell, the <br /> !,oil is removed from the transformers and picked up for disposal on a consolidated manifesting system <br /> prior to disposal of the equipment. Mr. Harrell also stated that the x-ray equipment never contains any <br /> chemicals aside from the used oil in the transformer. No disposal records were available on site for used <br /> i <br /> oil. <br /> s 1 <br /> I <br /> Notice to Comply - Minor violations: (122; 125, 703, 812) <br /> 122 & 125. Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for the last three years were not found on site. <br /> According to Mr. Harrell, all disposal records are sent to the Sacramento office for storage. Hazardous <br /> waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts <br /> used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for <br /> review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them <br /> site, and submit copies to the EHD by June 10, 2013. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> Inspector Received By: / Title: <br /> EHD 22-02 R Page 4 HW INSPECTION REPORT <br />
