Prior to 1989, a leaking turbine pump was documented to have released petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons at the site <br /> Adjacent Land Uses <br /> The property is bounded on the north by a small shopping center, on the west by a fast <br /> food restaurant, on the south by East Yosemite Avenue and on the east by Northwoods <br /> Avenue <br /> Utility Locations <br /> Underground utilities are present beneath the site, the locations are shown on Figure 2 <br /> Prior to beginning fieldwork, the Underground Service Alert will be contacted and all <br /> discernable underground utilities will be marked To ensure against drilling through <br /> subsurface utilities or other potential obstructions, the first 5 feet of each boring will be <br /> augered by hand <br /> Generalized Geology and Hydrogeollogy <br /> The site is located in the Central Valley of California, a structural basin bordered to the <br /> east by the Sierra Nevada and to the west by the Coastal Range Surficial sediments <br /> underlying the site consist of recent alluvium The alluvium overlies the Victor Formation <br /> The alluvial and Victor Formation sediments are composed primarily of discontinuous <br /> lenses of gravel, sand, and clay <br /> 90-098A WPN -3 <br />
