According to Mr. Joseph Smith, the drain <br />cart has not been used today. According to Mr. Robinson, the drip and drain pans are emptied at least every 90 <br />days. <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following inforrn2tion-. <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />-hazardous properties (ignitable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br />_ physical state (liquid, solid) <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br />Since it cannot be determined how long the undated oily solids and used antifreeze have been on site, immediately <br />contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of these wastes under manifest and submit a copy of the <br />manifest to the EHD. <br />This is a Class 11 violation. <br />608 <br />CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br />A 55 gallon black steel drum of used oil filters was observed open with no accumulation start date. Used oil filters <br />shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and <br />marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately close and label this container, and ensure that all used oil <br />filters are managed in this way. <br />This is a Class 11 violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
