d) Interstitial Camera confirmed no discharging petroleum product (gasoline)
was present AND
e) Hydrocarbon sensor applied to external wall of AST confirmed no discharging
petroleum product (gasoline) was present.
f) These test-results are moot because the owner/operator is in the process or
replacing this AST with a bona fide doublewall AST installed by the local Fuel-
Provider.
Additional Test Comments
1/19/2011, Insertion of test equipment which includes camera/hydrocarbon
sensor into interstice which simultaneously examines both primary and
secondary containment. Any fluid in the interstice indicates either
primary/secondary containment is breached. In this instance, the initial test of
usina an infrared camera determined 12-inches of liquid in the interstice:
subseauent execution of the hydro-carbon sensor further determined that the
liquid was rainwater (leak-detector tube was uncapped at the time of the test--
SPC Corporation capped the leak-detector tube following the test). (petroleum)
Product did NOT exist in the interstice at the time of thetest. Subseauent
external test indicated no further hydrocarbons present. Spill Kit is adiacent to
AST on west side of assembly and includes kitty-litter which was used during the
clean-up on the concrete pad.
II. Per 7/31/2009 revision, next periodic integrity testing is scheduled for
1/19/2021 or as determined by local AHJ.
