A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose <br /> of,transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without a hazardous waste ID number. Go to the DTSC <br /> web site hftp://www.dtsc.ca.gov/IDManifest/PERMHWID.cfm for the form to reactivate the ID number. <br /> Immediately reactivate your State ID number and submit evidence to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 106 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> The owner, Joe Franco, stated that he had not been trained. The generator must ensure that all employees who <br /> handle hazardous waste are thoroughly familiar with proper waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> Immediately get trained and provide proof of the training to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 110 CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> Copies of uniform manifests for the last three years for the disposal of hazardous waste for used oil, used <br /> antifreeze, used oil filters(paper and metal)and used absorbent were not found on site. Hazardous waste <br /> generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a <br /> consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately <br /> locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the <br /> EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for the last three years for the disposal of hazardous waste for used oil, <br /> used antifreeze, used oil filters(paper and metal)and used absorbent were not found on site. Hazardous waste <br /> generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a <br /> consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Facilities shall be maintained and <br /> operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water <br /> which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean the shop and the backyard up, and <br /> manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations.
