Several manifests were also observed using the facility EPA ID number, but <br /> listing an emergency response site as the generator site address. The EPA ID profile for this facility, <br /> from the DTSC website, lists a current 2010 total of 29.53 tons of hazardous waste generated under two <br /> manifests. According to Elias Avila, this waste was generated at an emergency response site, not on <br /> the facility. A generator who transports, or offers for transportation, hazardous waste, shall prepare a <br /> manifest in accordance with Title 22 regulations, including the generator's correct EPA ID number and <br /> the correct address information. Immediately determine which manifests were for this facility and which <br /> were for emergency response cleanups, for a minimum of the past three years. Make all necessary <br /> corrections and notifications with DTSC to ensure that all wastes are properly identified under the correct <br /> EPA ID number. Submit a copy of the notification made to DTSC, to the EHD within 30 days (9/20/10). <br /> Ensure that all future hazardous waste is handled under the correct EPA ID number and generator <br /> address. <br /> 60, 61, 62. A generator who does not receive a TSDF signed copy within 35 days of shipment, shall <br /> contact the transporter and/or designated facility to determine the status of the hazardous waste. If a <br /> TSDF signed copy has not been received within 60 days of the date of transport, the generator shall file <br /> an exception report with DTSC.
