Two spill pallets located in the Gas Shed have dark dried staining beneath. It appears there could be <br /> a crack or damage in the spill pallets. All facility communications and alarm systems, fire protection <br /> equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment, shall be tested and maintained as <br /> necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Spill pallets shall be maintained clean <br /> and dry at all times so as to catch any unintentional releases. Immediately inspect the spill pallets for <br /> any damages and maintain all spill containment in proper working condition. <br /> ra+oU r& N/a 4p, ftp&r� <br /> 20 & 27. A 5 gallon plastic white bucket located in the wood storage shed adjacent to the paint graffiti <br /> storage had no lid nor identification. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following <br /> information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste", 2. name and address of generator, 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state, 5. composition (contents), 6. accumulation start date <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br /> Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not <br /> adding or removing waste and label this bucket and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are <br /> marked with all the required information. <br /> 25. Failed to remove waste stored in a damaged or leaky container. A one gallon plastic container of <br /> green liquid labeled Babe's Boat Bubbles was stored on its side in the wood storage shed. Upon up- <br /> righting the container, the liquid started to have a small stream leaking. If a container holding hazardous <br /> substances is not in good condition (rusted, structural defects), or if it begins to leak, the owner/operator <br /> shall transfer the hazardous waste from this container into a container in good condition, or manage the <br /> substance in sub other way that complies with the requirement of Title 22 Hazardous waste regulations. <br /> - Corrected on site.
