Exhibit A
ILLElNFEIOER
.yvxwrrr»
be approved ahead of time. It is our intention not to drill the sites if precipitation or
irrigation is imminent, or delay drilling for at least two weeks atter any precipitation or
irrigation event unless otherwise notified that access is granted.
Mud will be removed from the tires of drilling equipment by brushing before exiting the
site and entering Eight Mile Road in an effort to reduce tracking. In the even that mud is
tracked onto the roadway, the tracked mud will be hand swept off of the roadway.
For the boring proposed to be drilled on the levee crown we submit the fallowing drill rig
and support truck specifications:
Drill Rig type
CME-05. dual axle,two wheel drive
Weight 40,ODD pounds
Support truck type
Single axle, two wheel drive
Weight 35,000 pounds
Limitations
Kleinfelder offers various levels of investigative and engineering services to suit the
varying needs of different clients. Although risk can never be eliminated, mare detailed
and oxtcnsive invostigations yiold mora information, which may help understand and
manage the level of risk. Since detailed investigation and analysis involves greater
expense, our clients participate in determining levels of service, which provide adequate
information for their purposes at acceptable levels of risk. Acceptance of this Work Plan
will indicate that you have reviewed its content and determined that you do not need or
want a greater level of service than will be provided. Any exceptions should be noted
and may result in higher less.
Regulationsand professional standards applicable to Kleinfelder's services are
continually evolving. Techniques are, by necessity, often new and relatively untried.
Different profossionals may reasonably adopt difforont apprcachos to similar problems.
Therefore, no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, will be included in
Xleinfelder's scope of service.
The safety of ooremployees is of paramount concem to Kleinfelder. You will be notified
if conditions at the project site represent a potential safety concern to our employees.
8r05'.GlQST091-225R Page 3 of 4 October 20,2009
CoppgY.2]fA Kbinrelder Rerisim Nw t.waled Ocm ,2&709E
