Telephone: (209)983-9660 <br /> Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00047354 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> C00047354 states: "COMPLAINANT ALLEGES VISITING ON SUNDAY 9/2/18 AND NOTICED A FREEZER WAS NOT <br /> WORKING, SO THE COMPLAINANT INFORMED THE STORE MANAGEMENT. THE FREEZER CONTAINED FROZEN <br /> READY DOUGH AND IT APPEARED TO BE COMPLETELY THAWED OUT. COMPLAINANT RETURNED THE NEXT <br /> DAY AND THE FREEZER WAS REPAIRED BUT THE SAME THAWED PRODUCT WAS STILL AVAILABLE FOR SALE. " <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> freezer at dough,bread,and frozen vegetables--14.00°F <br /> NOTES <br /> Per Store Director, he is unaware of the complaint and states that no freezer has gone out(during this time frame)for an <br /> extended period of time(other than defrost cycles).The entire facility is on the Einstein temperature monitoring System. If a <br /> unit goes out of temperature, an alarm goes off and employees are notified to check the unit for malfunction. <br /> Upon inspection,there were 5 packages of Ready Dough in the freezer.Three of these packages (all with a Best By date of <br /> 9-1-18)were semi-frozen.
