MANY PEOPLE WERE TAKING PHOTOS AND VIDEOS.WENT INTO FOOD 4 <br /> LESS AROUND 9AM ON 6/18/17. NOT JUST ONE RAT, MULTIPLE RATS-NOT ON GROUND, ON ACTUAL PRODUCE! <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Store director was not aware of this complaint. I informed him of the complaint. He stated that western exterminator services <br /> the facility twice per month.There are traps set up throughout the facility. Glue boards and snap traps are set up and I did not <br /> observe any rodents on the traps. I did not observe any live rodents in the facility. <br /> I inspected the produce display area where the tomatoes are. There were no signs of rodents under the tomatoes. I observed <br /> debris under the spaghetti squash which appeared to be from rodents eating the squash seeds.All the squash in display were <br /> whole. The produce employee stated that they remove any squash that is not whole. <br /> The produce employee stated that all the tomatoes were place on display this morning at 8 in the morning. <br /> The produce counter will closed and all the product removed.The counter will be cleaned inside and access points will be <br /> installed for monitoring the inside of the counter and implement pest control.The pest control company must be called to <br /> come to the facility to suggest how to implement pest control in the produce display areas.
