RATS CRAWLING ON TOP OF THE <br /> CEILING AND ON PRODUCE. EMPLOYEE HAD AN INCIDENT WHERE A RAT JUMPED ONTO THE EMPLOYEE. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Manager confirmed incident with rat jumped onto the employee, and based on the report he'd received,the rat also bit the <br /> employee. The employee was sent to hospital and released. <br /> Observed multiple points of access, peeling baseboards, holes in wall,food debris in storage backroom floor level and above, <br /> and liquid on floor in Chinese Deli and on produce floor. Did not see many droppings,just a few in breakroom and storage <br /> area. <br /> Facility is using Western Exterminators,who was out on site last Thursday. They come out regularly about twice a week. <br /> Remove all food debris/liquid on floor, eliminate access and routes where vermin can travel (i.e. installing device on overhead <br /> wires/pipes that vermin cannot travel past), and provide more pest control as needed. <br /> Re-inspection in 1 month.
