All hazardous waste tanks shall be <br /> marked with the words"Hazardous Waste"and the accumulation start date. Immediately ensure that all hazardous <br /> waste tanks are marked with the required information. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 502 CCR 66265.192(a) Failed to comply with new hazardous waste tank system assessment requirements. <br /> Facility does not have a tank assessment for hazardous waste tanks T8,T9,and T10(approximately 800 gallons <br /> each tank)that contain waste seal and dye. The owner or operator of a hazardous waste tank shall obtain a written <br /> assessment reviewed and certified by an independent, qualified, professional engineer, registered in California <br /> attesting that the system has sufficient structural integrity, is acceptable for the transferring, storing, and treating of <br /> hazardous waste,and that the tanks and containment system are suitably designed. Immediately have an <br /> assessment prepared for hazardous waste tanks T8,T9 and T10. Submit a schedule showing when this will be <br /> accomplished to the EHD and submit the tank assessments when they are completed. <br /> This is a Class I violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(a)Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> In the maintenance area: <br /> One 5 gallon plastic container with used oil in it was observed with an 8/29/2018 accumulation start date. <br /> One 55 gallon black steel drum containing non punctured/crushed oil filters was observed without an accumulation <br /> start date. <br /> Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month may store waste on site up to 90 days. <br /> Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy <br /> of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> FA0016140 PRO524006 SC001 01/25/2019 <br /> EHD 22-02 Rev.09/27/2018 Page 5 of 7 Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br /> 1868 E.
