Results of Limited Subsurface Investigation
Former P.E.O'Hair Site, 1102 South Aurora Street,Stockton,San Joaquin County,California
Page 4
RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS
The analytical results of the soil samples collected from the borings indicated that no petroleum
hydrocarbon constituents were detected above laboratory detection limits, with the exception of
TPHg at 14 parts-per-million(ppm) in the soil sample(GP-3@20'),collected from soil boring
GP-3. The two soil samples collected below GP-3@20' at 30' and 35' bgs were non-detect for
all constituents analyzed. MtBE was not detected in any of the soil samples collected from the
site during this subsurface investigation. Soil analytical results are summarized in Table 1.
The analytical results of the groundwater samples (GP-1W through GP-5W)indicated that no
concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbon constituents were detected above laboratory detection
limits. Groundwater analytical results are summarized in Table 2.
With the exception of 14 ppm TPHg in soil sample GP-3@20', no petroleum hydrocarbons were
detected from any of the soil or groundwater samples collected from the site. Petroleum
hydrocarbons have not impacted groundwater at the site.
This low concentration of TPHg should naturally attenuate and does not pose a threat to
groundwater.
It is Apex's professional opinion that a"No Further Action"letter be issued for this site by the
County and the CVRWQCB.
