The soil samples from the ten-foot borings adjacent to the <br /> former lifts will be analyzed for TPH by method 8015 at 8-10 feet deep. Samples taken adjacent to <br /> he three stage clarifier will be analyzed for TPH by method 8015, and Volatile Organic Constituent <br /> (VOCs) by method 8240. Up to four shallow (hand auger) soil samples may be collected adjacent <br /> o the four aboveground storage tanks, if the floor beneath the tanks appears to be stained from <br /> prior spills and is cracked or porous. These soil samples would be analyzed for TPH (oil, <br /> transmission fluid, and waste oil tanks) or VOC (coolant tank). A standard Phase One asses=ent_ <br /> will be conducted in parallel with the field_investigation. The estimated time to complete the work <br /> is five weeks from the notice to proceed. The accelerated schedule would reduce the analytical <br /> time to approximately one week, and the total project time to approximately three weeks. The <br /> estimated project cost is $12,287; the accelerated project cost estimate is $14,443.
