"B" St. <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> u <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services,Environmental Health Division(PHS/EHD)has recently reviewed <br /> the Site Investigation of Caltrans-Shop 10 submitted by Environmental Assessors, Inc. and dated January 13, <br /> 1994. 'PHS/EHD has the following comments: <br /> -As stated in the comment letter from PHS/EHD addressed to Mr. Gordon Marts of Caltrans and <br /> dated 11117192: 1 <br /> :P <br /> -Pursuant to Section 2652 (d) of the Underground Storage Tankk Regulations (California Code of <br /> Regulations,Title 23, Chapter 16)a quarterly monitoring report shall be submitted to Public Health <br /> Services, Environmental Health Division and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) until the investigation and cleanup of the `site is deemed adequate. The report is to <br /> show the: <br /> -status of investigation and cleanup activities including the results for all investigations <br /> completed to date; <br /> -proposed continuing or next phase of investigation; <br /> -method of cleanup proposed or implemented, schedules for the completion of the <br /> investigation of the site and remediation; <br /> -method and location for disposal of the released hazardous substance and any contaminated <br /> soil, groundwater or surface water; <br /> -manifest required for transport of hazardous substances; <br /> b -monitoring well data including groundwater elevation, ph,conductivity, gradient; <br /> -analytical results for groundwater or soil sampling; and; <br /> -site map showing the "zero line" of contamination, if"own, and changes in the above <br /> measurements over the last quarter. <br /> -Since the monitoring wells were last sampled on October 22, 1993 sampling is currently due again. <br /> -PHS/EHD concurs with this report in that the vertical and lateral extent of soil and groundwater <br /> contamination have been adequately defined.
