SECTIOMTW® 9110 lackgrounC <br /> groundwater samples due to the recent construction of the maintenance building, these <br /> wells were located in the footprint of the building Groundwater concentrations of TPH g, <br /> TPH-d, BTEX and MTBE were not above the laboratory detection limits in groundwater <br /> monitoring wells MW-16 and MW-25 during 1998 TPH-d were detected in the following <br /> rime monitoring wells MW-9, MW-11, MW-13, NM-14, MVI-24, VW-1, VM-1, VM-2, <br /> and MW-26 TPH-g were detected in the following seven monitoring wells MW-12, <br /> MW-13, MW-14, MW-20, VW-1, VM-1, and VM-2 BTEX were detected in seven <br /> MW-12, MW-13, MW-14, MW-19,VW-1, VM 2, and MW-26 MTBE was detected in <br /> one well,VW-1, using EPA Method 8020 <br /> In summary, 21 groundwater monitoring wells have been installed at the Shop 10 site over the last 12 <br /> years Ten of the groundwater monitoring wells are currently located on site and are umcluded in the <br /> current groundwater monitoring program Eleven of the groundwater monitoring wells have been <br /> abandoned A total of 153 groundwater samples have been collected and analyzed (through the <br /> August 1998 groundwater sampling event) for TPH-g and BTEX A total of 127 groundwater <br /> samples have been analyzed for TPH-d and a total of 110 groundwater samples have been analyzed for <br /> MTBE At the Shop 10 site, a total of 241 soil samples were collected and analyzed for TPH-g and <br /> BTEX, and a total of 76 soil samples were analyzed for TPH-d Results of soil and groundwater <br /> analytical results are summarized in Table 2-1 and 2-2, respectively <br /> The frequency of concentrations of TPI-g, TPH d, BTEX, and MTBE detected above laboratory <br /> reporting limits in groundwater are shown in Table 2-3 MTBE has been analyzed for by EPA Method <br /> 8020 for 110 groundwater samples and was detected above the laboratory reporting lints in 18 <br /> groundwater samples Twelve of the same groundwater samples were analyzed for MTBE using the <br /> gas chromatograph/mass spectrometry method EPA Method 8260 and was not detected above <br /> laboratory detection limits <br />' The frequency of concentrations of TPH-g, TPH d, and BTEX detected above laboratory reporting <br /> limits in soil are shown in Table 2-4 TPH-g were detected in 18 percent of the soil samples analyzed <br /> Benzene was detected in 27% of the soil samples analyzed MTBE was analyzed for in soil samples <br /> collected from soil borings VM-1,VM-2, MW-25, and MW-26 in 1996 and was not detected above <br /> the laboratory detection limit of 0 0005 mg/kg in all soil samples tested <br /> r � ® T%1987W79009NA%STOCKTOMREPORTLSHOREM DOG18-FE8-Wa73008NA%%A 2-7 <br />
