MONITORING WELL IDESTIRIJCTION/INSTALLATION REPORT <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> ' This Monitoring Well Destruction/Installation Report for the Shop 10 Maintenance Station (the Site) <br /> was prepared by Geocon Consultants, Inc under Caltrans Contract No 43A0078 and Task Order <br /> (TO)No 10-OE7900-MG <br /> 1'1 Proiect Location and (Description <br /> ' The Site is situated on the west side of South B Street in Stockton, San Joaquin County, California, and <br /> is enclosed by a perimeter fence The Site is currently being utilized by the California Department of <br /> ' Transportation(Caltrans) for equipment storage and maintenance <br /> ' The approximate Site location is depicted on the Vicinity Map, Figure I The Site boundaries and <br /> former and existing improvements are depicted on the Site Plan, Figure 2 <br /> ' 12 Purpose <br /> The objectives of this TO was to perform the following 1) attempt to locate monitoring well MW-14 <br /> utilizing geophysical and field exploration techniques, 2) repair and put the well back to service if <br /> found to be salvageable, 3) destroy and replace with a new well if the well is not salvageable, 4) <br /> advance two Cone Penetrometer Test (CPT) borings to obtain deep lithologic data for the aquifer <br /> beneath the Site and to collect four vertically discreet groundwater samples <br /> 1 <br /> Project No 58475-06-02 -1- December 26 2001 <br />
