Regarding your letter of February 10, 1994, Mr. Saiyed Ali corresponded with Mr. Michael <br /> Collins of your department on April 4, 1994. Subsequent to the above letter, Caltrans has <br /> regularly tried to keep your department informed of all the hazardous waste activities <br /> taking place at the Caltrans Shop 10 site. Since we submitted the Groundwater Monitoring <br /> Report by Ninyo&Moore dated September 23, 1994, our staff has been in touch with you by <br /> telephone, and yourself and Mr. Harlin Knoll of your department have visited the site. . <br /> 2. As for a work plan to continue the soil and groundwater investigation, District 10 has sub- <br /> mitted a Task Order(T.O.) to our Headquarters for approval and encumbrance of the <br /> requisite funds for the Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study (RI & FS) at the Shop <br /> 10 location. Once the T.O. is awarded and our contractor submits the workplan to us,we <br /> will send the workplan to you for your comments. The workplan will detail the timetable <br /> and the work to be performed. <br />—. —3. .Regarding the Stockton.Maintenance yard.,:the.,mornitoring.wells.MWA-MWC.._recommendedr. <br /> to be upgraded by the consultant Ninyo &Moore,were properly sealed and inspected by the <br /> consultant.
