(continued) <br />(2) the aboveground portions of the tank system to detect corrosion or releases <br />(3) data gathered from monitoring and leak -detection equipment (e.g., pressure and temperature <br />gauges, monitoring wells) to ensure the tank system is being operated according to its design <br />(4) the construction materials and the area surrounding the tank system, including secondary <br />containment structures, to detect erosion or signs of releases (e.g., wet spots, dead vegetation) <br />A written record of these inspections shall be maintained on site. Immediately begin keeping daily <br />hazardous waste tank inspection logs and submit a copy of these logs to the EHD by May 25, 2012. <br />305. The fire extinguishers in the fluid evacuation building had an annual inspection date of August 4, <br />2010. All facility communications, alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and <br />decontamination equipment shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation <br />in time of emergency. Immediately have all necessary inspections and service completed for all fire <br />extinguishing equipment at this facility, and ensure proper maintenance is conducted in the future. <br />610. A black plastic bucket of drained used oil filters was observed open and unlabeled in the fluid <br />evacuation shop. Used oil filters must be stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained <br />used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately containerize and label these <br />filters and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br />9999. The hazardous waste training for this facility was provided by Nathan Davidson. No current <br />training was available for Mr. Davidson. Hazardous waste training shall be provided by a person trained <br />in hazardous waste management procedures. Ensure that all persons conducting hazardous waste <br />training at this facility have current training in hazardous waste management procedures. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification to the EHD by May 25, 2012 <br />along with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each <br />violation and any supporting paperwork. <br />"Facility generated 57.64 tons of hazardous waste in 2011 and is being placed in a higher permit <br />category (50-250 tons/year).
