(AGE) has prepared this(proposal for sample collection and <br /> analysis of the contents of the.existing septic subje'c't existin s tic tank at the sub roe J P P n7'. <br /> k <br /> 1.0. SCOPE OF WORK I' k <br /> It is our understanding that an illegal drug manufacturing-laboratory was located on a property <br /> adjacent to the subject property. The San Joaquin County;Environmental Health Department <br /> (SJCEHD) is requiring an investigation of the septic tank contents to determine if chemicals used <br /> in illegal drug manufacturing had been disposed of into the septic tank. It is our understanding that, <br /> the current on site septic tank consists of a single holding compartment.. <br /> AGE proposes to collect one. sample from the septic holding tank. If there is more than one <br /> compartment on the septic holding,tank the sample will be collectedfrom the first holding tank in <br /> the system. A representative of SJCEHD will be present on site to witness sample collection. The <br /> soil sample will be submitted to a State-certified laboratory.Upon completion of the investigation, <br /> e <br /> sampl_ results will be submitted to SJCEHD for possible site closure.The sample will be analyzed <br /> for: I� <br /> Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline' and diesel(TPH-g and TPH-d) in <br /> accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified; <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as oil and grease (TPH-o&g) in accordance with <br /> EPA Method 8015 Modified; <br /> Il ; <br /> j <br /> 837 Shaw Road,Stockton,California 95215- <br /> Telephone(209)467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118 <br /> . 1 <br /> 1 <br />
