Although the March results confirm that trihalomethanes are not present in the two supply wells, the March samples did contain very low levels of iso-propylbenzene and toluene. Summary and Conclusion The March 1996 analytical results from the wastewater ponds at the All Pure facility confirm that water in Ponds 1 and 2 contains carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, and other VOCs, and water in Pond 4 contains chloroform and other VOCs. The chloroform and other trihalomethanes detected in the stormwater samples indicate that water from the ponds has overflowed to the surrounding area. Although the low levels of VOCs detected in Pond 3 in January 1996 were not confirmed, a trace of chloroform was found in this pond in the March results. Low levels of trihalomethanes, including chloroform, were detected in Pond 5, which receives wastewater containing water softener. The March 1996 analytical results also confirm the lack of carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, and other trihalomethanes in All Pure's two supply wells, although very low levels of iso-propylbenzene and toluene were detected in both wells in March.
