This information was required to be submitted by June 20, 2015. This <br /> information has not been received resulting in a non-compliant status for this facility. An operator that receives an <br /> inspection report shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement documenting corrective <br /> actions taken or proposing corrective actions which will be taken. Ensure that a written response documenting <br /> corrective actions taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> Open violations from 5/13/2015 inspection: <br /> -Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste or retain waste analysis on site for 3 years <br /> -Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous waste <br /> -No modified contingency plan <br /> -Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste <br /> -Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66265.31 Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> Filter cake solid was observed on the ground and walls surrounding the filter cake dumpster as well as <br /> approximately six feet outside the door of the building. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten <br /> human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the filter cake solid and manage it according to Title 22 <br /> hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was <br /> managed. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 403 CCR 66265.173 Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> -Six green plastic drums of shaker waste(lint and other debris)were observed outside the northwest corner of the <br /> building with the tops cut off and no lids. The operator stated that this waste would be put inside the filter cake <br /> dumpster. <br /> -Two black metal 55 gallon drums of hazardous waste were observed open outside between the empty plastic <br /> drums and totes on the northwest corner of the building. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste.
