(Geomatrix). The property occupies the eastern portion of the former
TAOC Tracy Pump Station located along Beechnut Avenue, west of Tracy Boulevard. Previously, the
project was referred to as the 880 Beechnut site.
The report provides the 3 December 2004 quarterly groundwater monitoring analytical results for the
period October to December 2004. Currently, there are two onsite monitoring wells, two offsite
(downgradient), and one offsite (upgradient)monitoring wells associated with this project; the two
onsite wells contain floating product and were not sampled. Floating product is removed from these
wells.
Consistent with previous results, petroleum hydrocarbon constituents were not detected in the upgradient
well; total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g),benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes
(BTEX), and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were not detected in the two downgradient
wells. However, TPH as diesel (TPH-d)was detected in the downgradient wells at concentrations of
230 µg/L (Well E) and 120 µg/L (Well F).
Separate phase floating crude oil has been removed for the six previous consecutive quarters from onsite
wells REW-2 and REW-3. Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), a consulting firm for
ChevronTexaco and UPRR, is responsible for product removal at this site. During the November
product removal event, REW-2 contained approximately 2.5 feet and REW-3 contained approximately
California Environmental Protection Agency
Cpi Recycled Paper
