A clean disposable bailer will then be used to collect the <br /> grab groundwater sample from each soil boring. <br /> The water samples will be collected by lowering a 0.5"-diameter stainless steel or disposable <br /> bailer through the temporary 0.75-inch-diameter PVC casing to groundwater. The groundwater <br /> will be bailed from the casing, decanted from the bailer into 40-ml VOA vials, and capped. Each <br /> VOA vial will be checked to ensure no bubbles are present, labeled, placed on ice, and <br /> transported to the laboratory under COC documentation. The water samples will be analyzed <br /> for TPHg, BTEX, MtBE, TAME, DIPE, EtBE, and TBA by EPA Method 82608.
