Box 5004
— San Ramon; CA-94583z0804--
SUBJECT:
A~94583=0804 -SUBJECT: SWENSON PARK GOLF COURSE PERMIT
I have made certain revisions to the Revocable Permit regarding Chevron's use of City property at
Swenson Park for the installation and operation of a groundwater monitoring well. The revised permit
is attached for your review and execution. The changes that I made involve your desire to substitute
Chevron's self-administered claims program in lieu of the City's standard insurance requirements. Please
note that your subcontractors will still be required to comply with our normal requirements.
We cannot comply with your request to eliminate clause 2 regarding revocation upon 90 days notice.
In checking with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, I found that this clause will
not conflict with their program requirements. Please note that other permits you have obtained from the
City for similar purposes are revocable at the sole discretion of the City and without any notice
requirement.
Please return the executed permit, together with a check in the amount of$500 to cover the first year's ,
fee, to my attention for processing to the City Council for their consideration. If you have additional
questions, please call me at (209) 944-8320.
.. — DON LLOYD, JR.,-DIRECTOR-.
HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
RON PALMQUIST
SENIOR REAL PROPERTY AGENT
RP:rp
Attachment
cc: Larry Nordstrom, City Parks Superintendent
Mary Meays, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Div.
"STOCKTON...CALIFORNIA'S SUNRISE SEAPORT"
