Due to an excessive amount of silt in Chevron monitoring wells MW-1 R and MW-3R
the wells could not be developed and were not sampled. The City of Stockton Municipal
District would not operate Municipal well #10, and would not allow SECOR to collect a
sample during 1Q06. Groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum
hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEX),
and the fuel oxygenates methyl tertiary butyl ether (MtBE), ethanol, ethyl tertiary-butyl ether
(EtBE), di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), tertiary-amyl-methyl ether (TAME), tertiary-butyl alcohol
(TBA), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), and 1,2-dibromoethane (EDB). The groundwater data collected from MW-2R is intended to provide preliminary
groundwater quality data on the Chevron site since all wells were destroyed in June 2005.
1:1Chevron1942751REPORTSIQ M R1200611Q06.doc
