We have the following comments which are to be addressed in <br /> your next quarterly report. <br /> In the 1991 First Quarterly Report, the groundwater gradient is stated to be to the north-northwest; <br /> however, according to Figure 1, the gradient continues to be in a north-easterly direction. Please provide <br /> clarification of this discrepancy. <br /> The"zero line" of contamination to the west of the station has not been identified. Contamination reported <br /> in monitoring wells E-11 and E-12 is significantly above California Drinking Water Standards. Additional <br /> investigation is required. Please submit a work plan for this additional investigation by August 3, 1991. <br /> Please perform fecal coliform tests on all monitoring wells within 50 feet of sanitary sewer lines. <br /> Please include in all subsequent quarterly reports a summary of all site activities.
